About Us

IDefy, Inc is a 501c3 dedicated to leveling the playing field for people with disabilities. We employ unique methods and technologies to train and empower people with disabilities with marketable skills while promoting proactively inclusive perspectives among the nondisabled.

Meet Our Team

Renee' Scruggs, IDefy, Inc

Founder/Director

Renee' Scruggs has been a

self-advocate for disability empowerment since being severely and permanently injured in a car accident in 1979.

Ms. Scruggs has provided disability inclusion training for NASA, The Corp of Engineers-Huntsville, NASHRM and other corporate organizations.

She has provided career, leadership training and internship services for the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services (ADRS), serves on the Huntsville Area Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities, is an advisor for People First of Alabama.

Ms. Scruggs holds a Bachelors in Communications, Master in Business Administration and a Masters in Management.

Anthonye Perkins

IDefy, Inc, Media Program Director Owner/Founder

 Jes'Us Productions

Anthonye Perkins 25+ years of experience in media production spans the broadcast, corporate, educational, governmental, military, private, and religious genres.

As a freelance Media Producer, Technical Director, Video Editor, and writer, I have created visual presentations and literary works that have been broadcast on

ABC, CBS and NBC.

Mr. Perkins is the former Manager/Director of the

Oakwood University Media Center/OUBN, and the Owner and Founder of Jes' Us Productions,

an Audio/Visual, Media Content, Production/Consulting & Training company.

B.A. Degree in Communications, and a minor in English (with a Writing Emphasis).

Ruth-Ann J. Thompson

IDefy, Inc, Creative Advisor

Owner/Founder, Ruth-Ann Thompson,  LLC

Ruth-Ann J .Thompson  is a phenomenal creative force. She is a renaissance woman, gifted motivational speaker, author, lyricist, soloist, comedian and character actress.  Ms. Thompson draws from her personal experiences, skillfully weaving honesty and humor, to conduct the “Sunshine in the Shadows” Grief Seminars. Through these seminars Ms. Thompson arms groups across the country with practical tools to effectively navigate life’s toughest challenges. Through Connections in the Open Field, Harmony in the Open Field, Oogie Googies in the Open Field, Contentment in the Open Field, and Puzzles in the Open Field, her children’s series books, Ms. Thompson touches the hearts of children and encourages the hearts of parents.
